Thursday night, in the final 4, the Studs matched up with the Santa Barbara (CA) Foresters, the Champions of the NBC tournament in 2006 and 2008. In the 3rd game between these teams over the summer, the Studs started out quickly.  Scoring 4 runs in the first and another in the second inning, the Studs never trailed and won 11 to 6.

Excellent pitching performances once again carried Seattle with solid outings.  From starter, Stuart Gano had 2.1 innings then  Cam Nobles with 4.2 innings.    Add another appearance from Taylor Thompson for the last 2 innings and the Studs prevailed. 

Led by Kyle Boe’s 3 hits and 2 hits apiece from Derek Jennings, Jesse Gibson and Garrett Breda the Studs pounded out 13 hits against the top pitching staff in this years tournament.  Taking 2 out of 3 from the Foresters this year.
